UTILITIES
Utility partners are critical to the success of the Cash for Appliances Washington program. Many of the state’s utilities have made in-kind marketing commitments to the State of Washington in order to help get this program launched. The state is relying on you to help spread the news that Cash for Appliances Washington rebates may be layered with appliance incentives you already offer.
In order to make it as easy as possible for you to support the program marketing, Cash for Appliances Washington has a suite of materials available for your use. If you wish to market the program in a manner that has not been provided in the available materials please contact Beth Gillette at bgillette@peci.org.

Match Marketing
In order for your in-kind marketing efforts to be reported, you need to share them with us. In exchange you will receive a report that includes the estimated dollar value of your efforts and a report that outlines energy savings achieved through the Cash for Appliances Washington program.
Examples of these marketing efforts on behalf of the program include mentions of the program on websites or in print advertisements or point-of-purchase materials. Here is the spreadsheet you will use to report your marketing efforts. It clearly outlines potential marketing activities and what information we need to know about them.
In order to receive your utility’s quarterly energy savings report:
- Please document your marketing activities in this spreadsheet. Reports need to be submitted by the end of each quarter during the program (June 2010, September 2010, December 2010, March 2011, etc.).
- The spreadsheet should be emailed to: bgillette@peci.org; the subject should include your utility name and the quarter for which you are reporting.
- Even if you have not conducted any marketing on behalf of the program, please submit a spreadsheet that reports no activity.
- If you have questions, please contact:
